• Mass. coach accused of seducing minors due in Fla. courtroom

(FOX 25 / MyFoxBoston.com) – A Massachusetts hockey coach accused of trying to lure teenage boys online is due in a Florida courtroom Tuesday.

Anthony DeSilva, of Acushnet, Mass., was arrested last week. The 41-year-old is the coach and general manager of the Massachusetts Maple Leafs, a junior league hockey team.
A Florida mother told police that DeSilva tried to solicit her 16-year-old son online. Detectives posed as that boy and another teen and connected with DeSilva.
Police say Desilva sent them naked pictures and described sex acts to them.

DeSilva is facing more charges, including two counts of traveling to meet a minor and two counts of encouraging a child to engage in sex acts. Stay with myfoxboston.com and FOX 25 News for updates to this story.
