MASHPEE, Mass. (MyFoxBoston.com) – The manhunt in Mashpee for a husband accused of beating his wife with a hammer is over.
Stanley Pells is under arrest. Police said he attacked his wife at their home on Noisy Hole Road early Thursday morning and then ran away. His wife, Wanda, was found with serious head injuries.
Pells was caught around midnight, walking not far from their house. He will be in court Friday to facing charges for attempted murder.
His wife was transported to a trauma center with serious head injuries.
