Maroney continues 'not impressed' meme with President Obama

WASHINGTON, D.C. (FOX 25 / MyFoxBoston.com) One member of the "Fierce Five" dominated the limelight this week during a meet-and-greet with President Barack Obama.

President Obama joined in on McKayla Maroney's Internet meme by striking a "not impressed" pose with the Olympian. The photo was posted on the president's Facebook page on Saturday along with a quote from the comical moment.

"McKayla Maroney: ‘Did I just do the 'Not impressed' face with the President...?' Yes," read the caption.

The Fierce Five — Gabby Douglas, McKayla Maroney, Kyla Ross, Aly Raisman, and Jordyn Wieber — claimed the gold at this summer's London Games. They signed leotards to give to the president's daughters, Sasha and Malia, during the visit.

Maroney's ‘not impressed' pose became an Internet sensation during the Olympics after she was photographed with an apparent pout on her face after claiming silver in women's vault. Some took to Photoshop with the picture, placing the pouting 16-year-old beside the Egyptian pyramids and even on the moon.
