Man's body pulled from river in Methuen

METHUEN, Mass. (AP) - Authorities say a man's body has been pulled from the Spicket River in Methuen.

Essex County District Attorney's Office Spokeswoman Carrie Kimball-Monahan tells

that a state police diver recovered the body of the 66-year-old man around 6:15 p.m. Sunday. She says foul play isn't suspected but authorities are investigating.

The man's identity has not been released. His body has been taken to the medical examiner's office.
