Man with 'hot' mug shot gets modeling deal

LOS ANGELES (MyFoxBoston.com) -- He's got a job offer - even though he's still behind bars.

Jeremy Meeks, the 30-year-old whose mug shot went viral earlier this month, has been offered a $30,000 modeling contract with Blaze Modelz Los Angeles, according to TMZ. He's also reportedly landed an agent, who has clients including "Octomom" Nadya Suleman, and "Teen Mom" star Farrah Abraham.

Meeks, who is already a convicted a felon, was arrested earlier in June on five weapons charges and one gang charge, according to Officer Joseph Silva, a spokesman for the Stockton Police Department.

The handsome mug shot of the Northern California man arrested on went viral on social media, attracting tens of thousands of "likes" and drawing comments praising his high cheek bones, chiseled face and striking blue eyes.

The modeling agency claims to book their models for deals with high-end fashion labels like Versace, which could bring Meeks thousands of dollars per gig.

But Meeks has to get out of jail first -- and his bail is currently set at $1.1 million.
