HINGHAM, Mass. (MyFoxBoston.com) – A Rockland man won $50,000 on a lottery ticket, and on his way to Braintree to claim his winnings, he was pulled over by police.
Scott Lowe, 22, purchased a $2 scratch ticket from Home Spirits in Hanover. After learning that he won $50,000 on the ticket, he began his trip to the Lottery's Braintree headquarters to claim his prize.
On his way to the headquarters, he was pulled over by Hingham police who tweeted that he was speeding and shaking. Lowe showed the officer the scratch ticket, and he let Lowe off with a verbal warning.
Lowe's luck with tickets had not yet run out.
