Man wanted for several convenience store robberies

WOBURN, Mass. — Police are asking for the public's help in identifying a suspect allegedly involved in multiple robberies and attempted robberies that occurred in four different communities.

The fire robbery was at the Stoneham Spot Pond Mobil gas station on Wednesday Police said the suspect entered the store, demanded money from the clerk, while holding either a knife or a screwdriver. The clerk was able to push the panic alarm and the suspect fled the store with nothing.

Then, Friday at approximately 5:45 a.m., the same man allegedly entered the BP gas station on Washington Street and threatened the cashier with a knife. He fled the scene in a gray or silver Toyota Corolla without any cash, said police.

The suspect is described as a white male, approximately 5 feet 7 inches tall, with a medium build and an obvious limp.

Additionally, police believe the suspect is connected to armed robberies that occurred in stores on Friday in Somerville and Lynnfield. The man is also believed to be connected to an armed robbery that occurred at the Speedway convenience store in Woburn on Dec. 5.

These incidents remain under investigation by the Woburn, Stoneham, Lynnfield, Somerville and Boston Police Departments.
