CHELSEA (FOX 25 / MyFoxBoston.com) – Chelsea police have arrested a man who ingested several condoms filled with what is believed to be heroin.
Fire and EMS responded to the Wyndham Hotel Sunday afternoon for a report of an unconscious man found by hotel workers. The man, identified as 40-year-old Luis Sanabria-Morales, of Venezuela, was taken to Whidden Memorial Hospital in Everett, where officials recovered several items of the ingested contraband.
Chelsea detectives seized the evidence and were notified by hospital staff that several more of the items are still believed to be inside Sanabria-Morales' digestive system.
Sanabria-Morales is listed in stable condition. His arraignment has not been scheduled.
Police are investigating.
