BROCKTON, Mass. — A teenager from Brockton is hoping surveillance video will lead to the return of a stolen pair of pricey sneakers he worked all summer for.
Sergio Gonzalez had a pair of new Air Jordan 11 'Space Jam" sneakers delivered to his front steps on Sophia Avenue, but surveillance video from around noon on Thursday captured a man stealing the package.

“I'm a junior at Brockton High School. I do two sports and I'm an honor roll student. I worked all summer for these shoes and I think it's a shame someone took them right from my door," Gonzalez said.
In one of the videos Gonzalez shared with Boston 25 News, you see a man walk up to the house and sit on the front steps, before grabbing the box with the $300 sneakers inside and walking away.
Gonzalez said police are investigating, but the thief hasn't been caught. He wants to share his story to warn others before they become a victim.
"It is awful. I hope he isn't able to do it to anyone else," Gonzalez said.
