Man stabbed after fight at Trader Joe's in the Back Bay

BOSTON (MyFoxBoston.com) – A 30-year-old man was stabbed in the stomach Thursday night after a fight at Trader Joe's in the Back Bay.

Police said they found the victim at about 10 p.m. He was lying on his back at 50 Gloucester St. following a confrontation at the Boylston Street supermarket, police said.

The man, whose name was not released, was rushed to Brigham and Women's Hospital with life-threatening injuries, police said.

The suspect, 49-year-old Micheal L. Guess, of Dorchester, was arrested and charged with assault and battery by means of a dangerous weapon (knife). He is due in Boston Municipal Court on Friday.
