• Man shot, stabbed after three assailants enter Framingham apartment

FRAMINGHAM, Mass. (MyFoxBoston.com) -- Framingham police are searching for three men accused of stabbing and shooting another man inside a Second Street apartment.

Investigators were called to the scene at about 11 p.m. Friday on reports of a shooting. When they arrived, they found a victim suffering from gunshot and stab wounds on the lawn outside of the apartment. He was transported via medical helicopter to Brigham and Women's Hospital with injuries that are not believed to be life threatening.

Police say a loved one of the victim was inside the apartment with two young children when she answered a knock on the door. Three men, two carrying knives and one carrying a firearm, forced their way into the home. One man placed a knife to the person's throat and yelled, "Where's the money?" Two of the men stayed downstairs as another went upstairs in the apartment to search for money.

While the men were inside, the victim entered the home via the rear door at which time the first suspect pointed a handgun at him. The victim began to defend himself and was shot in the chest during the altercation. His loved one then ran out of the rear door and the victim followed as he is being stabbed by at least one of the suspects.

All three suspects fled on foot toward Beaver Terrace Circle.

The first suspect is described as a black man with a squeaky voice. At the time of the attack, he was wearing a dark colored hooded sweatshirt and a mask. He was also carrying a firearm.

The second suspect is described as a Hispanic man in his twenties. He was wearing a dark, tight hoodie and was armed with a knife.

A third suspect is described as the shortest of the three men and "possibly Hispanic." He was also wearing a dark, tight hoodie.
