BOSTON — Police are working to find the person who shot and killed a man in front of a school bus with kids on board.
A man in his 20s was shot in the head near Dearborn and Zeigler Streets in Roxbury Thursday afternoon. A school bus was right in the middle of the crime scene. Three children had been on board the bus, but were not hurt.
The students had been coming home from the Harvard-Kent Elementary School.
"I hope for the sake of the young children they didn't see it, but it goes to this being a brazen crime that we need the public to step up and help us solve this," Boston Police commissioner William Evans said Thursday.
Police are still searching for the shooter. FOX25 was told a fight broke out just before the victim was killed.
