Man robs NH bank at gunpoint

MERRIMACK, N.H. (MyFoxBoston.com) -- Police in New Hampshire are asking for the public's help in identifying a man who robbed a Merrimack bank at gunpoint Wednesday.

Investigators say the man entered the TD Bank on Daniel Webster Highway at about 5 p.m., pulled a shotgun out from under a white cloth, and demanded cash from a clerk. The suspect reportedly made threats during his demands and was very direct with the clerk.

After receiving an unknown amount of cash, the suspect fled on foot toward the intersection of Greeley Street and Mound Court.

At the time of the robbery, the suspect was wearing a black baseball cap, a blue and white horizontal striped long sleeve shirt, denim shorts, and black sneakers. He is believed to be in his late twenties to late thirties, between 5'6" and 5'9" tall, weighing about 200 pounds, with auburn hair and a goatee.
