• Man robs bank, then apologizes on way out

    BROOKLINE, Mass. (MyFoxBoston.com) - The Eastern Bank on Harvard Street in Brookline was robbed Wednesday by a man with a firearm.  

    According to the police report, the man showed a note, said he had a gun and demanded cash. He then brandished the weapon, a black handgun; hit the counter with it; and then pointed it at the teller while asking for money.

    After receiving the cash, the man then proceeded to apologize and thank the tellers.

    The teller recognized the man as the same individual who robbed the same bank last month, according to the Brookline Police.  Witnesses described the suspect as a white male in his 30s.
