Man rescued after trying to climb down ex-wife's chimney

LAKE FOREST, Calif. (MyFoxBoston.com) -- Firefighters rescued a California man from his ex-wife's chimney Monday.

Authorities were called to the scene in Lake Forest at about 3 a.m. They say the man was trying to get into his ex-wife's home after she refused to let him in through the front door. The man then decided to try the roof, but ended up getting wedged.

Firefighters spend more than two hours trying to remove him. Crews had to tear apart the entire chimney to get him out.

The man suffered non-life threatening injuries. No charges have been filed.
