Man reportedly spits on MBTA driver, runs away

(FOX 25 / MyFoxBoston.com) – Transit Police are asking for the public's help identifying a male who reportedly spit on an MBTA bus driver on Oct. 4.

According to Transit Police, the male spat on the operator at the intersection of Washington Street and Harvard Street in Charlestown and then fled the area around 2:30 p.m.

The suspect is described as a black male, approximately 5'7" tall, and has a medium build. He appeared to be in his late teens to early 20s. At the time of the incident, he was wearing a light blue baseball hat, a gray jacket, jeans, and sneakers.
