Man held syringe filled with red liquid during robbery, say police

ABINGTON, Mass. — Officers are looking for a man who was holding a hypodermic syringe filled with a red liquid as he robbed a gas station, said police.

Early Saturday morning, the man entered the Stop n Gas gas station on North Avenue in Abington and allegedly robbed the store. The clerk handed over the contents of the register and was not injured.

The man was about 5-foot-9 with a medium build was wearing, a gray hooded sweatshirt with a REEBOK logo on the front, gray sweatpants, brown gloves, a mask, and sunglasses.

After the robbery, he ran eastbound on Harrison Avenue, said police.
