Man flown to hospital after crashing into house in Groton

GROTON, Mass. — A man is in the hospital for serious injuries after crashing into a house in Groton.

Groton Police responded to the home on Boston Road after a call reported a car had crashed into a building late Friday night.

Officers found that the car had crashed into the house's garage, and the driver was in cardiac arrest when they arrived.

The man was given CPR, and a pulse was re-established.

The victim was flown by Med Flight to a Boston area hospital with serious injuries, and his condition is unknown at this time.

Police remained on scene to investigate the cause of the crash and the structural condition of the house.
