EAST BOSTON, Mass. — A man was fatally shot in East Boston on Sunday afternoon, said Boston police.
Police responded to reports of a person shot at Marginal Street and Orleans Street at around 4:40 p.m. Upon arrival, police found an adult male victim suffering from a gunshot wound.

Initial investigation indicates that the man may have been shot inside a Rav4, and then pushed out. Police are searching for a Rav4.
Police said it appears that the victim and shooter knew each other.
