Man drowns while bridge jumping in Conway, N.H.

CONWAY, N.H. (MyFoxBoston.com) – New Hampshire State Police say a man died after jumping off a railroad trestle into the Saco River in Conway Saturday.

Police said the 30-year-old man had jumped nearly 30 feet from the bridge with two friends. According to police, the two began yelling for help when the third man did not resurface. He was found downstream about 15 minutes later.

Police said CPR was attempted on the man. He was taken to Memorial Hospital where he was pronounced dead.

The man was not identified pending the notification of his family.
