Man dies in early morning shooting outside of Brockton bar

BROCKTON, Mass — One man was shot to death in Brockton early Saturday morning.

Police said multiple calls came in at 2:00 a.m. about a shooting outside of Dylan's Bar on Centre St.

When officials arrived on scene, they found a victim, identified as 42-year-old David Carroll. He was brought to the hospital, where he was pronounced dead.

As of Saturday night police were still searching for the suspects wanted for the shooting.

The bar reopened on Saturday night, but neighbors say they were surprised the shooting happened outside such a popular bar.

State Police are still interviewing witnesses who were at the bar early this morning just after the bar closed.

Officials said this is an active investigation.
