TAUNTON (FOX 25 / MyFoxBoston.com) A 22-year-old man died on Saturday following a single-car accident in Taunton.
Taunton Police say the 22-year-old crashed through a guard rail near the Neck-o-land Bridge on County Street on Saturday morning. The man's SUV was submerged in the Taunton River when police and fire crews arrived.
The man was taken to Morton Hospital with life threatening injuries. Police say that the man has since died. They are not releasing his identity at this time, only saying on their Facebook page that he is a resident of the city.
