• Man arrested after exchange of gunfire with police


    MANCHESTER, N.H. (MyFoxBoston.com) – Shots were fired after police pulled over a car Friday morning in Manchester, N.H.

    It happened at about 10:20 a.m. in the area of Somerville and Wilson streets. Police said the unidentified passenger took off after the car was pulled over.

    The officer then pursued the man on foot. That's when police say the passenger fired shots at the officer, who returned fire.

    Police said a second officer was involved in the foot pursuit, leading to the area of Lincoln and Silver streets. No one was hit and no injuries were reported.

    The suspect is under arrest.
