Man accused of raping woman at Boston Logan during massage

BOSTON — A man who works at a business located inside Boston Logan Airport pleaded not guilty after allegedly raping a customer Thursday.

Darnell Williams, 29, works at the Be Relax Massage Studio inside Terminal B. On Sunday night, a 25-year-old traveler from another state went to the massage studio before her departing flight.

The victim told police Williams led her to a back corner room of the studio. About 35 minutes into the hour-long massage, she said that Williams raped her. She immediately asked for the message session to end, but Williams allegedly continued to touch her inappropriately before leaving the room suddenly.

Police said the victim left the massage studio very distraught and then became physically ill.

Once she landed at her final destination, the 25-year-old told a family member what had happened and they contacted Massachusetts State Police on Monday.

A trooper began investigating and determined Williams was the only employee working at the massage studio at the time of the rape who matched the victim's description.

Troopers interviewed Williams Wednesday and then charged him with rape. He allegedly confessed to police saying "she was cute" and that his fingers slipped.

Before court began, Wiliams' mother told Boston 25 News that the victim's story didn't make any sense.

Williams' bail was set at $5,000 and the judge ordered him to be confined to his home, with a GPS bracelet.

State Police note that Williams is not employed by the Massachusetts Port Authority, but directly by Be Relax, a sub-tenant of Airmall, which manages the airport businesses.
