Updated:WEYMOUTH, Mass. (MyFoxBoston.com) -- A 50-year-old man was arrested Saturday for reportedly sexually assaulting a co-worker and selling birth control pills at a Weymouth variety store.
Varino Neto, of Weymouth, was released on $1,000 cash bail Monday after his arraignment on charges of possession with intent to distribute a class E drug and indecent assault and battery on a person over 14.
Police were called to Belo Art just before 11:30 a.m. Saturday. A woman told police Neto had inappropriately touched her several weeks ago and that he was selling birth control pills to women. She then pulled out more than 140 birth control pills she claimed Neto was selling.
Neto is due back in court on Oct. 17.
