Man accused of assaulting woman twice at MBTA station

BRAINTREE, Mass. — A Quincy man faces charges after he allegedly assaulted a woman twice at the Braintree MBTA station Saturday night.

A woman told police that a man, who has been identified as Marc Dicarli, 40, indecently assaulted her while she bent over to pick something up off the ground that she had dropped.

She said she was able to push him off her and he walked away, but she told police he returned a short time later and physically assaulted her for a second time.

She attempted to defend herself and police responded to the scene.

Dicarli was taken into custody and was charged with indecent assault and battery, and assault and battery.
