Updated:QUINCY, Mass. (MyFoxBoston.com) -- Officials broke into a car on Wednesday morning after they say a man accidentally left a one-year-old in the back seat.
Police say the man had accidentally left his child in his SUV and boarded an MBTA train at North Quincy Station.
When the man remembered the child was in the back seat, he called the police and gave a description of the vehicle.
The Police and Fire Department responded to the scene and were able to get into the car.
Officials say the child was fine.
The investigation has been turned over to the MBTA Transit Police.
