Malaysia Airlines lost all contact with flight

(MyFoxBoston.com) -- Malaysia Airlines says it has lost all contact with one of it's flights headed for China Friday.

Flight 370 took off from Kuala Lumpur Friday evening. It was expected to land in Beijing, but officials say it vanished from radar two hours into the journey over Vietnam.

The plane is a boeing 777 and 239 people are on board. Emergency crews are now searching a wide area on the ground and out over the ocean.

Passengers were of 13 different nationalities, but it is unclear if any of them are American.
