Maine man admits to stabbing, alcohol may have been involved

GORHAM, Maine (FOX 25 / MyFoxBoston.com) – A Maine man was arrested early Saturday morning for reportedly stabbing a 42-year-old Windham man and injuring an adult female.

Police responded to Maple Drive around 11:30 p.m. on Friday after receiving a call that a man had been stabbed.

Upon arrival, officers located the victim who was treated by paramedics and transported to a local hospital.

Officers went inside the residence where the incident reportedly occurred and found an unresponsive adult female lying on the floor. She was also transported to a local hospital.

Police officers equipped with a K9 unit located 40-year-old Bradford Lacy, of Gorham, hiding outside near his residence around 12:05 a.m. on Saturday.

Lacy was transported to jail where he admitted to the incident. He has been charged with aggravated assault with a dangerous weapon.

Lacy's bail was set at $15,000 cash.

Police said alcohol may have played a factor.

Detectives executed a search warrant at Lacy's home and continue to investigate the incident.
