Lynn crash kills one

LYNN, Mass. (MyFoxBoston.com) -- Lynn police shut down portions of Lynnfield Street late Thursday morning after a deadly crash. The street was eventually reopened later in the day.

SKYFOX was over the scene just after 12:30 p.m. A white car and a red truck were taped off. The passenger side of the car was heavily damaged.


A food service truck and a white Chevy Prism collided as it snowed near Colonial Avenue, officials say. An initial report from police indicated that speed was a factor in the crash that killed one person.

There is no word yet on the identity of the victim.
