Missing pregnant woman found safe in Lawrence

LOWELL, Mass. — UPDATE: Kristina Jewel has been located in Lawrence staying with friends, in good health.

Lowell police are asking for help finding a pregnant woman who hasn’t been seen since Monday.

Police say 29-year-old Kristina Jewell was last seen around 6 p.m. Monday while walking her dog in the area of School Street and Branch Street.

“I’m worried sick right now this is my little sister the baby of the family," Kristina's brother told Boston 25 News.

Jewell is approximately 5’1” tall, 140 pounds, with red hair and green eyes.

Anyone with information on where Kristina may be is asked to call police at (978)937-3200.

“We don’t suspect foul play. We don’t think anything bad has happened to her that we know of. No suspects or anything like that. We are just trying to get the word out and see if we can find her," Lowell Police Capt. Tim Crowley said.

Jewell also has a 12-year-old son named Daymeon who is currently in her brother's care.

“She said she’d be right back," Daymeon said. “She’s got a family who cares for her. Everyone misses her.”
