FALL RIVER, Mass. (MyFoxBoston.com) -- A shelter in place order has been lifted at the Fall River campus of Bristol Community College after a false report of an armed intruder.
The school asked students and staff to shelter in place after receiving the report of an armed intruder in the G-Building at about 10 a.m.
In a statement released at about 11:30 a.m., school officials said the report was investigated by Campus and Fall River police. The report was found to be erroneous and normal operations resumed at 10:45 a.m.
