Local man arrested for drug and gun possession

Dartmouth, Mass. (MyFoxBoston.com) -- Dartmouth police seized drugs and a gun while searching a local man's home and car last week.

Investigators say North Dartmouth resident Tyler Fournier, 26, was arrested Thursday for possessing crack cocaine, heroin, and a 9 mm gun. The charges against Fournier include possession with intent to distribute both Class A and Class B drugs, as well as possession of a large capacity firearm.

The arrest came after a month-long drug investigation by members of the New Bedford and Mattapoisett police departments.
