Local author Michele McPhee's new book about the Boston Marathon Bombers is now out, and she's saying that Tamerlan Tsarnaev was an FBI informant.
"This isn't a crackpot theory, this is a proven roadmap," said McPhee.
The FBI does not comment on books or movies but in 2013 in a joint statement from FBI, MSP, and BPD stated that the Tsarnaevs were never FBI informants and were never recruited to be informants.
