Garrett Heydon loves sports, but because of muscular dystrophy he cannot play the sports he loves. That doesn't stop him from participating.
Heydon is the play-by-play announcer at Lincoln Sudbury High School for football, basketball, and volleyball. He also controls the scoreboard for baseball.
He has gone to two sports broadcasting camps at Boston University and is going back this summer.
FOX 25's Maria Stephanos has a feeling we'll be hearing him doing play-by-play in the not so distant future.
FOX 25 learned about Garrett from a tip. Do you know someone in your community who has character or who is a character? Send an e-mail to firstname.lastname@example.org.
