From FOX 25 chief meteorologist Kevin Lemanowicz
A light snow covered the area late Friday night, fighting the dry air in place over us.
It won't be much because the main storm is passing too far south and moving way too fast. Still, roads and sidewalks that are covered will be slippery thanks to the freezing temperatures.
That cold air sticks around all weekend. Milder air is on the way, though. We will likely see some light snow Monday ahead of the warm air, with a transition to ice and rain by Tuesday.
Temperatures will peak Wednesday or Thursday with highs around 50. Warm weather lovers can't get too excited, though. Cold air returns next weekend behind the warm-up.
Sarah Wroblewski is back Saturday night with the latest. Have a great weekend.
