BOSTON (MyFoxBoston.com) -- A Level 3 sex offender was arrested in Back Bay Station early Monday morning after reports that he was exposing himself on a train platform.
Just after 12:30 a.m. Sunday, MBTA Transit Police responded to reports that a man was exposing himself and committing a lewd act on the platform of the Orange Line train. When officers, the man gave them several fake names and Social Security numbers.
After finally getting his real identity, police said the officers realized he was a sex offender who had violated offender registration laws.
Daniel Williams, a 55-year-old man living in Boston, was arrested and charged with failing to register as a sex offender. Police did not say if he was also arrested in connection with the reports that he had exposed himself on the train platform.
Williams was arraigned Monday in Boston Municipal Court.
