• Lakeville man accused of assaulting plow driver


    LAKEVILLE, Mass. (MyFoxBoston.com) -- Lakeville police arrested a man for assaulting a plow driver Saturday night.

    At around 8:30 p.m. Saturday, Lakeville police responded to 28 Churchill Road where a plow truck driver said a man hit him in the head with a shovel.

    Police then arrested Douglas Haskell and charged him with assault and battery by means of a dangerous weapon (snow shovel). He will be arraigned in Wareham District Court on Tuesday. 

    The plow driver, who is one of Haskell's neighbors, was evaluated by EMS but refused to be taken to the hospital.
