Justin Timberlake helps man propose during concert

LOUISVILLE, Ken. (MyFoxBoston.com) -- Pop star Justin Timberlake helped two fans take a major step in their relationship last weekend.

During a stop in Louisville, Ky. Sunday as part of his "The 20/20 Experience World Tour," Timberlake approached two fans and asked them for their names. Josh Clemens replied, saying his own name and the name of his then-girlfriend, Kim Martin.

"Why don't you all make your way up here?" the crooner replied.

After the pair took the stage, Timberlake admitted that Josh had something he wanted to tell Kim before stepping away and allowing them to share the spotlight. Then, before a crowd of 22,000 people at the KFC Yum! Center, Josh asked Kim to marry him. She said yes before the couple shared a kiss.

Timberlake posted the entire proposal on his YouTube channel. The video had more than 800,000 hits by Wednesday.

In an interview with CBS News, Clemens admitted the proposal was planned months prior to the show. He reached out to the pop sensation's management to request a song be dedicated to Kim. That simply wouldn't do for Timberlake's team, who then suggested the couple go on stage instead.
