(MyFoxBoston.com) – Jury selection begins Monday in the trial of a woman accused of stealing thousands from her Cape Cod charity.
Gina Clark was the subject of a FOX Undercover investigation back in 2010. The Marstons Mills woman founded the charity Touched by Angels in 2007, which was supposed to provide financial assistance to families in need. Instead, the 42-year-old allegedly stole donations and used them for her own personal use.
A year before her 2011 indictment, Clark told FOX Undercover she's innocent and that she did not expect to face criminal charges.
Clark is facing more than a dozen larceny charges, each carrying a penalty of up to five years in prison. She has pleaded not guilty to all the charges.
