Judge calls hearing to rule on gag order in Henry case

(FOX 25 / MyFoxBoston.com) – The parents of a Massachusetts college football player killed outside a New York bar head back to court Tuesday.

Danroy and Angella Henry, of Easton, say a federal judge in New York has called a conference with the couple to rule on gag order requested by Pleasantville police officer Aaron Hess and several others.

D.J. Henry was shot through the window of his car after officers say he was trying to run them down outside a bar. His parents have filed a wrongful death suit in the shooting death of their son.

The Henrys say the gag order would prevent them from using Facebook and Twitter to release information obtained during ongoing depositions in the case.
