Judge: ACLU can’t get involved in Tsarnaev case

BOSTON (MyFoxBoston.com) – A judge says the American Civil Liberties Union may not get involved in the case of accused Boston Marathon bombing suspect Dzhokhar Tsarnaev.

Last week the ACLU filed a document asking for fewer restrictions on Tsarnaev while he's in prison. His own attorneys had filed similar documents.

The Boston Herald Reports the judge in the case barred the ACLU from attending a hearing Tuesday on the restrictions. Judge Denise Casper said the ACLU has no standing in the case.

Meanwhile, Tsarnaev's defense team says they want more access to their client.
