(MyFoxBoston.com) – A New England icon says his battle with cancer is back.
Longtime Red Sox broadcaster and former second basemen Jerry Remy said during Wednesday night's game on NESN that he is being treated for lung cancer.
The 61-year-old received radiation treatment in March. He says he's doing fine.
Four years ago, Remy was off the air for four months because he suffered from depression after his initial cancer diagnosis and surgery.
Besides his job with NESN, Remy also has his name on several popular restaurants around the Boston area.
