Investigators release surveillance footage in shop owner's shooting death

MALDEN (MyFoxBoston.com) The Middlesex District Attorney's Office released surveillance footage on Thursday of two suspects believed to be involved in the fatal shooting of a Malden skate shop owner.

Investigators are hoping to identify the suspects, one who is wearing a black hooded sweatshirt and one who is wearing a black hooded jacket. Both suspects are shown wearing their hoods inside Patriot Skateboards.

The men are believed to be involved in the Jan. 29 shooting death of 39-year-old Shawn Clark of Saugus. Clark, the owner of Patriot Skateboards who was also a U.S. Marine, was found at his Main Street store just before 1 p.m. suffering from gunshot wounds. He was transported to Melrose-Wakefield Hospital where he was later pronounced deceased.

A source close to the investigation told FOX 25's Bob Ward that it appeared Clark was the victim of a robbery gone wrong.
