CONCORD, NH (MyFoxBoston.com) -- Police say a New Hampshire man may have been sleepwalking when he accidentally shot himself Tuesday.
The Concord Monitor reports an unidentified Concord man was transported to the hospital with non-life threatening injuries after police were dispatched to his Wilfred Avenue home just after 12:30 a.m.
The man's wife told police he shot himself in the knee. She said he appeared to be sleepwalking and woke up when the gun went off.
Investigators tell the newspaper that while the man likely won't face charges, this is a good reminder to residents about safely storing weapons.
