Investigators looking for serial robber one day after Reading holdup

READING (FOX 25 / MyFoxBoston.com) Investigators from several Massachusetts towns are looking for one suspect in a recent series of armed robberies.

The latest robbery happened on Thursday night at about 10:45 p.m. at the 6-11 Variety Gas Station on Main Street in Reading. Police say he was able to take off with several hundred dollars.

Investigators believe this suspect has also hit stores in Melrose, Stoneham, Woburn, and Winchester. In every robbery the suspect has been a white man carrying a black gun wearing black pants, a black sweatshirt, a black hoodie, and a black mask. They believe he is hitting places that are familiar territory and that he knows the lay of the land.

Police from several departments are hoping to stop him before he strikes again.
