BOSTON (MyFoxBoston.com) – Starting this fall, incoming freshmen at Boston University will have to sign up for an additional course about binge drinking.
School officials say an alcohol education course will be administered to help students separate fact from fiction.
Campus officials say more than 35 percent of their freshmen do not drink alcohol, but they also say their student body is more likely to believe that all students drink.
Officials say this two-part, online course will help students understand responsible drinking habits.
Topics in the course, include how many drinks equal a bottle of wine or beer and alcohol's mental and physical effects.
