IMAGES: Outpouring of support after the deaths of two Boston firefighters

BOSTON (MyFoxBoston.com) -- People from across the country are showing their support for the loved ones of two Boston firefighters who died battling a 9-alarm blaze on Beacon Street Wednesday.

Flowers and notes lined the sidewalk outside Engine 33/Ladder 15, where Lt. Edward Walsh and firefighter Michael Kennedy worked. Firefighters from across the country visited the firehouse to pay their respects.

A photo of Massport firefighters lined up at Logan International Airport is also going viral. Officials tell FOX 25's Catherine Parrotta the firefighters were waiting to meet family members of Lt. Walsh who were flown into Boston courtesy of JetBlue.

A fund has been set up to help their families. Donations can be sent to: Boston Firefighters Credit Union, 60 Hallet St., Dorchester, MA 02124.
