Human remains found in woods in Falmouth

FALMOUTH, Mass. (MyFoxBoston.com) -- Police are investigating the discovery of human remains in a wooded area in Falmouth.

Investigators tell FOX 25 they were called to the scene at about 6:15 p.m. Sunday by two Falmouth residents who said they found what they thought were remains off of a walking trail in Beebe Woods.

Officials would not comment on how long the remains were believed to be in the woods. They have not identified the remains yet, but say more information will be released as it becomes available.

Sources told FOX 25's Ted Daniel that the remains could belong to a man who committed suicide.
