How a Boston start-up hopes to prevent peanut allergies

A Boston startup's answer to peanut allergies is gaining momentum and will launch nationally this fall.

The product is called Aralyte and it's essentially a peanut introduction kit for babies.

It's based on the idea that gradually introducing peanuts to young kids can actually help them avoid developing allergies later in life.

The company hopes to release a product next year that will target more food allergies, including shellfish and wheat.
